Position: Charter Sales Executive

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Salary: Attractive basic salary plus sales commission


Job Information:

This role reports into the Commercial Manager.

The Role:

  • To build and deliver strong relationships with the broker and our direct client community
  • To responsively and accurately deliver charter quotations to brokers and direct clients, in addition to guiding clients through the booking process and actual trip
  • To source third party charter aircraft solutions for our direct clients when we do not have in-fleet availability; developing quotations, and guiding the client through the booking process and actual trip
  • Manage charter payments and credit control
  • Contribute to the maintenance of charter client records (Broker & Direct) within our BASE CRM, deal results and details of success and failures
  • To review quote successes / failures and determine the reasons
  • To provide data for monthly sales reporting from our AIROPS system
  • To maintain relevant aircraft profiles on Avinode and other sales channels
  • The candidate must be willing to work out-of-hours when necessary to support charter clients
  • Assist the senior management team with marketing efforts such as social media posts, email campaigns, and event planning for tradeshows and hospitality events

The Person:

  • Enthusiastic and able to self-motivate
  • Works well within a high pressure environment and is used to thinking one step ahead to aid their colleagues
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • High standard of numeracy
  • Excellent written and oral English language
  • Socially adept and confident enough to prospect for clients (experience with cold calling is desirable)
  • Career driven with an ambition to remain long-term in aviation
  • IT literate with deep experience of MS Office applications
